Horizon Aviation, Inc. Launches New Web Site, Marketing Strategy

Providence, RI, January 19, 2010 – Horizon Aviation, Inc, a Providence, RI and Norwood, MA- based flight training school, announced today the launch of their new website and marketing initiatives for 2010.

“We’ve developed Horizon Aviation into the premiere flight school in the region,” said Zeke Valtz, president of Horizon Aviation, Inc. “It was time to modernize our marketing efforts to reflect the technological sophistication and professionalism we’ve achieved at both campuses.”

The new site, www.HorizonAviation.com, features a community blog, a “student milestone” roster of achievements, and an ecommerce component that will allow site visitors to purchase flight exploration packages online for themselves or as a gift for a budding flight enthusiast.

In addition the launch of the new site, Horizon is pursuing new avenues in marketing its flight school services as well.

“This year, we’re running print and web ads in India and Australia,” said Valtz. “The Indian General Aviation community is not well served by the existing Indian flight education system, so it makes sense for us to have a physical presence there to educate Indian students about the benefits of getting their flight training in the US. In Australia, there’s already a sense that flight training in the US represents great technological proficiency as well as value for those markets.”
